Ok now if you guys are real fans of Counter-Strike(you know who you are) this is the download for Valve's new Steam Server where you can download CounterStrike 1.4 Beta.

You must remember this is a beta so some things may be fun

I really only recommend this to people with Cable or DSL because it will take a really long time to get it loaded fully....it may act like it's going to freeze on you but it really isn't...give it time to load up...this is a faster and more efficient way to get the beta of CS 1.4. There are a couple of new maps....stamina on the characters as in if you jump more then once you can hardly walk for a brief second...stuff like that so just remember it's a beta

ic, yes, i seem to remember some of the new chnages commin out for this patch. sweet, more cs action for me!

Oh yeah...and just downloading this and playing it doesn't uninstall your CS 1.3 either :)

great. I'm glad they put a limit on jumping. How many times do you see a war movie with all the soldiers hopping around the battle-fields like bunnies?

Yeah, but jumping around is one key way to get around fast enough and not be heard.

Sounds like the massive increase in head shots 1.3 had. Looks like more people are going to be walking around to not have there foot steps heard.

I'd kill for dive and roll keys in this game.

The homepage makes no mention of this steam thing or a new version. The link doesn't work either, I think it might be overloaded. Where did you hear about this? I was a CS freak but I've taken a rest for a while now.
