Innovation Gameboy Advance TV Converter Question

I picked up Innovation's Gameboy Advance TV Connector today and I was wondering if anyone else has one of these. While I am impressed with the S-Video image quality (using the yellow RCA connection produces a grainy image), I am concerned about the unit feeling warm after only a half an hour of use. Is this normal or should I have it replaced?

(This is a real device, not an April Fool's joke. I picked mine up at Virgin Megastore. The device can also be found here.)

It looks like the same one from Hong Kong called the TV de Advance. If it is then yes I have the same problems with both the adapter and AC cord getting very hot. What I usually do is take a break after a half an hour and play again after it cools down just to make sure it doesn't burn out(I'd hate to have to pay for another one). My friend has the same problem.

It was $79.99. Luckily I had one of the $25 off $100 Virgin Megastore coupons that they gave out last Christmas. (I filled the order out with some accessories.)

I pointed out where I bought it because Virgin was the first B&M store that I saw this at.

You might want to pick up the one from Virgin Megastore. The TV de Advance is an import from Hong Kong. It cost me about $111.26 shipped. Got to me in 4 days though. It's $89.00 before shipping. I picked it up here: http://www.lik-sang.com/catalog/prod...ducts_id=1496&

If you want to see directions on how to install it(the directions are all in Chinese) check here: http://216.167.73.47/~gbaemu/faq/tvd...tvdeinst2.html

I don't see why not, in fact it might look better on the monitor than a tv due to the image not being enlarged as much. It comes with a/v and s-video connections.
