question about games on half.com
when you guys sells your old games on half do you spring for insurance or the delivery confirmation? I just sold DOA2 there and I am trying to figure out how to ship. TIA.

I've sold a few games on there and I don't spring for that. I just pack it nice and safely in a box with bubblewrap or in a padded envelope. I've not had a problem this way so I say don't bother springing for the extra cost.

I almost never use the extra services, but I almost always use first class shipping. It gets there faster and there's a much smaller chance of something happening to the shipment and it's usually just a few cents more than media mail (Unless it's one of those ps1's in a double jewel case).

It really just depends on the title for me & what it sold for. Am I willing to eat $10 for someone saying that they did not get the game...yes. Am i willing to eat $30...no.
I normally send mine first class as well if it is $25 or less. If it is over that, I send it media mail with delivery confirmation (only 50 cents more). It is worth it for peace of mind are higher priced items to me. |
