Shenmue 2 question [spoilers]
 

I HATE moving those piles of books out of the Man Mo Library!! I've had 5 tries and still haven't succeeded. Will someone please tell me what I'll get once I move them all within the time limit. Is it keeping me from progressing in the game in any way?! :mad:;)

I believe that if you do it right that day, either the guy or the lady will give you a move scroll. I don't believe that not doing it right will hinder your progress, although it's been a long time since I played it. I'm pretty sure you have to do it for several days though no matter what.

If it's just for a move scroll, then I won't stress about it.

i was terrible at that i didnt get it right once. yeah no matter if you suceed you still have to do it for about 5-7 days. however if you suceed the little man gives you a move scroll each time. apparently you cant get these particalar moves anywhere else in the game

I got pretty good at it but it was still wasn't easy, the trick is when you pick up books, first run out the door off the step, Ryo will always stumble off the step but not before the door, this will save valuable seconds. Then it gets harder you just need good reflexes, the first couple of piles I run, then start walking near the end.

But everyone else is right you don't have to get them all out. Still, Ryo's gotta pay somehow for staying at Xiuying's room for free all those days though, so there's no way to skip it.
