Oasis was a no weapon map wasn't it? You are playing no force lightsaber only???
multiplayer always pissed me off. I liked playing low level guys, but nobody else did.

not to mention the cheating
you could fire three of those rail gun missile thing into someone and they wouldn't die, but they'd hit you with one or two blaster shots and kill you

Ebworld & gamestop are both now offering it for $39.99 with free 2-day shipping. I ended up ordering it from gamestop because they include a t-shirt. I'm hoping to get it in time to give to my kid brother for Easter...

I've been playing this game for the past 2 days. It is amazing, but rather hard also. I'm playing at the "Jedi Level" (there are 4 levels, padawan, jedi, jedi knight, and jedi master). The Storm troopers run around like they're high on crack, which makes them hard to blast with your blaster, and since you have to go through 2 levels before you get the light sabre, you have to be patient.
I did play some deathmatch with the bots though, and it was intense, expecially when you have the light side powers on a map where you can fall off to your death. You can go up and push somebody off the edge and it gives you the kill instead of giving them a suicide. Very nice!

I picked it up today, its a great game. But I think I like the Dark Forces 2 game better, as far as single player goes. Havent tried multi either. I too played Jedi Knight to death online, the good old zone . I was lucky enough that Wal-Mart put it out early .

As I get a bit deeper into it I'm liking it more. I just got past the first mission, and now I'm at the very beginning of the mine levels. It is fairly challanging, even at the Jedi (Medium) difficulty level, but I found if you peek around corners and pick off enemies one at a time, that works well. Running into a room of stormtroopers guns blazing is a good way to die 
I'm hoping there will be a lot of the huge open areas like Jedi Knight 1 had.
I tried one multiplayer game when I first got it... had a ping of like 200 at you could tell. There was a delay when I took a shot, and it made it really hard to do anything, then the game screwed up or something... I'll try multi again later.
