I recently heard that there was another company that was involved with the mighty Microsoft x-box. Is this true, if you do know of any information please let me know.

My friend said he wanted to invest in that company and he said that he did not know what the companie's name was. :)

I have not heard -- but are you talking about hardware or software?

I believe it was the hardware aspect of the units. Supposedly this other company was involved in creating most the x-box unit for funding it.

Now they want to expand and create a new x-box unit that will triumph the present one.

I think Kenningston creates some of the accessories for the current XBox (controller comes to mind), but they're not in the design business, they're in the manufacturing business.

Nvidia?

Nvidia makes the graphics chips, intel makes the processor. XBox is a cheap, specialized PC, nothing more.

I wouldn't invest in a hardware partner just for expected XBox sales, however. Your friend has already missed the boat on that one.

It is a little bit more than that. He doesn't want to invest in the x-box per se. Just the company that is involved with the x-box creation.
