Civ3 question! How can I build "armies" using "leaders"'?
Civ3 question! How can I build "armies" using "leaders"?
It says in the book, and civilopedia, Once a leader is created from winning a battle (happens randomly from 'elite' units winning a battle) send him back to a city
once in the city he can do one of two thing:
1 hurry along a wonder of the world
2 create an army
What is the keyboard command/mouse command for "creating" an army???
I can not figure it out!
It says the leader acts like a "transport" and can "carry" other units with him into battle.
I tried using the mouse to slide units onto the leader icon, but no luck...
I can not figure it out for the LIFE of me!
Anyone?

I got it
went to the civ3 sie
Put your leader in a city
once he is there, activate him (if he isn't already)
and at the bottom of the screen where all the little command circles are there is a new one for "build army" as soon a syou do it, the leader changes into an "army" icon. (a soldier carrying a flag)
Any units that are in the city where the "army" is located, will also have a new command circle at the bottom of the screen - "join army"
Works pretty nice. You are limited to 3 units in an army until you get the "pentagon" later in the game
This game is so great!
