Maximo Queston!
 

I rented Maximo and its pretty cool with some nice true platform hacking action! The only problem I'm having is that its pretty hard (which is probably a good thing :thumbsup: ), but my question is how do you save or use the checkpoints? I keep passing these "checkpoints" but everytime I die I always end up back at the very beginning of the level instead of the last checkpoint I passed. Is this supposed to happen?

You have to perform a downstrike (X+X, triangle) on the checkpoint spot.

Thanks man! I thought I was doing something wrong but couldn't figure it out without the instruction book. This should make the game a lot easier. Great game!! :).

To save, you have to finish the first level of each world and the 2nd level is just a doorway to the other levels. Look around for a round pool & when you stand on the markings, it will ask if you want to save (costs 100). This isn't explained well in the manual, and even harder if you rented it with no instructions.

Yeah I was wondering where the save was as well, thanks for the tip. I haven't been able to beat level 5 yet. This game has some real challenge at times and I'm a little rusty at this kind of game but its pretty cool.
