Gamecube return

Hi, i bought a gamecube last monday, and in some crazyness my brother gave me his. So now i have two, since i opened it do you think Target will let me return it? I have the recipt and all of the packaging. I called and the sales clerk said it just needs the original packaging and accessories. I want to exchange it for a x-box. I'm just afraid that if i go there they'll screw me.

From Target.com:

What is your return and exchange policy?

An original packing receipt dated within 90 days is required for all returns and exchanges.

You can make returns or exchanges at your local Target store or via mail with an original target.com packing receipt or an online Gift Receipt. All returns must be new, unused and contain all original product packaging and accessories. Some items cannot be returned if opened, including music, movies, video games, software and collectibles. Some items are subject to a 15% restocking fee, including camcorders, digital cameras, portable DVD and portable electronics. Other restrictions may apply.

You might have to pay $30 for the restocking fee.

Dude, those GameCube boxes aren't shrink wrap....so.... just put everything back in the box neatly and return it. Tell them that you didn't open it.

Yeah, just lie about it, who cares? It's cool to lie.

Please.

Put it back together nicely and return it. They will most likley take it back with out a problem. There is no need to lie about the situation.

Actually i'm really enjoying Max Payne. I'm getting Halo In two weeks. I won't have time to play it until then.

Max Payne is an excellent game. It's just very short and can be beaten in a rental period.
