Yes. Damn good. The gameplay system is actually like playing hockey. You can't pull the crap that you can in other games, which is skating in the zone with one guy, flying around the defense, and dekeing a goalie outta his pads.

Instead you will get checked, or taken to the outside. And the goalies are damn good in this game.

I highly recommend it Des, especially since you just starting watching the sport, it would help you learn the rules and little nuances of the game.

I have to agree. this is damn fine hockey. (picked it up over the weekend) I haven't had good hockey in the house in a long time.
right now the place is cursed with nhl hitz eeeewww.
