How Good Is Wave Race Blue Storm ?

I got to play it for a couple of minutes on display at BB.

It looks really good. Is it a good game to buy ?

It's great. There's a bit of a learning curve for the controls, but once you get the hang of it it's a cinch. The various weather modes give the game a lot of replay value.

A lot of the courses are hte same as the N64 version, so if you have that you might not want this one.

I don't have the N64 version.
The water looked very realistic !

I think I'll tell my wife to get it for me for Valentine's Day.

Great idea. There isn't a more intense racer on the market. You really sweat through tight races because the waves bounce you all around. There's nothing like a tight race on a Stormy day.

I enjoyed it for the week that I had it...in my opinion it was tougher than the N64 version. That always adds to extended playability!

This game is A+++. It is the best water game in the industry, with the second being the first one. The real water physics are amazing.

In regards to the "levels" being the same, just ingnore that, it's not entirially true. A few boards are very similar, but offer differents routes and such. Many of the courses are much different.

Each level of difficulty the courses change where you go, its really neat to see this implimented correctly. I highly recommend this great game.

It's awesome. The graphics are top notch, especially the water and weather effects. There is a learning curve to the control, but that's because it is a realistic game, rather than an arcade racer. Jet skis don't handle like race cars in real life and they shouldn't in games either, so Nintendo had the right idea IMO. It's a fairly difficult game too. The split screen mode is great too, no slowdown that I've noticed.
