GameShark 2 for PlayStation 2 problem
OMG, what a huge piece of garbage the GameShark 2 for PS 2 is.
I have only gotten the thing to work 3-4 times that I have tried to use it.
Most times I get the red message "Cannot detect hardware."
I have tried many times over a 4 hour period today to get it to work so I could play some FFX on my day off.
Support at gameshark.com is no help.
I'd take it back, but its past the return date.
The forum there offers no help either. The answer is either order the update cd(and get it in a few weeks. I'm still waiting for mine and it has been 3 weeks) or wait for it to be sent free(if that actually happens) in 4 months. Or they tell you to reset the thing to factory defaults, meaning that any codes you entered are lost.
Which really sucks because some of the codes are really damn long, like the FFX ones for all items and 99 of every item.
Stay away from this garbage if you value your sanity.
