OMG! Anybody see this week's Futurama? (Video Game Related)
 

Great tribute to classic videogames in tonight's episode. One of the segments explored "What if life were more like video games?" I was rotfl throughout...obviously written by true video game freaks.

yep, this second segment of the show, was without a doubt, one of the funniest things I've seen on tv in a long ass time. All the classic video game references with Donkey Kong, Mario, Space Invaders, Battlezone. I was laughing my ass off.

Are they still airing new episodes of Futurama? If so, I have been missing out!

yes because it was disrupted a lot during football season so they quit running it... i think they'll be running new episodes until spring sometime

Man, that episode was great. Especially for very tragic .

Yeah I saw it! I laughed so hard at the space invaders part, "speed up, lower, change direction", that was funny.

I remember an episode of Futruma with a Tetris parody of this construction crew putting up a wall and the foreman yells "not there!!!!" and the guy dropsa line down and the wall colapses. I don't know, it was funny. WIsh I caught the new episode though.

What was the name of this episode?

I think it was titled "Anthology of Interest II". I think the first anthology with the what-if machine was in the second season.

That was funny... Qbert and the robots of Berzerk were there... and the Brains from Robotron...

The Space Invaders part was the best...

And Donkey Kong going crazy, then Super Mario complaining... too funny... too good. I liked the Pac-Man Maze too...

Family Guy and Futurama have had some of the funniest material on TV this season...
