I need help on a level of HALO...
 

Let me start by saying that I don't know the level name...I have to somehow get to the top of this high structure and I commanded one of those purple space ships and tried to fly to the top,but that does no good...What do I do?[how's that for being vague :-0]

Do you start the level on a beach?

I dont think so..the level I am on comes right after the snow level with the tank, and the lil space ship and the jeep, all of which you can command...any advice? When I get home I wil post the level name, thanks

OK I know where you are. Are you (or were you) getting shot at by a thing moving on the ground with a huge cannon? You don't want to fly to the top of the huge thing, you want to fly to the base of it and get in from there. Try Gamefaqs though, it could help you too.

If you got into the banshee -- you don't want to fly to the top. You want to fly to the platform about midway up -- there'll probably be some turrets and 2 or 3 hunters up there as well. If you follow up the diagonal support column from the ground till it hits the structure, the platform is directly below you. Hope that helps.
