AV Cable for XBOX

Has anyone picked up the upgrade AV patch for the XBox? I mean the one that allows S-Video and Digital audio hookups. I have the whole 5.1 digital surround sound system but my TV doesn't have S-Video. Can I still us this cable just for the audio or do I have to us the S-video hookups too?

I believe the S-Video adapter also has regular outputs to the TV, you should have no problem.

I have the av box. And yes you can hook the video up with the standard RCA jack (the yellow one I think...) and your 5.1 audio via the optical cable to the receiver. I went with the $20 microsoft box and couldn't be happier :D
