Am I the only one who does this in wrestling videogames?
 

I can't imagine playing a wrestling videogame without investing the time to make a customized wrestler. I've made tons of them and I usually develope entire "histories" for them with backstories, angles, championships, et cetera. When I play with my favorite guys, I even have elaborate imaginary stories going on inside my head for every match... angles that evolve constantly. One of the ones that was a lot of fun was when my main guy, Judge Mentl had a long feud with HHH. I ended up "stealing" away Stephanie from him in a "Love Her Or Leave Her" type match. I added her as my ring escort/tag partner (This was in No Mercy on N64) and renamed her Stephanie McMahon-Mentl. Of course, I'm leaving out all of the details- the feud went on for a few months. My friends all do this kind of thing as well, and we create similar angles between the wrestlers that we've created. We even take the various titles seriously... anyone else do this?

HELL YEAH!!! I had one where my stable of guys where out take over the company NWO style with our manager being Bobby Heanan and the Rev. Slick :D. We stole all the belts and the women. It was going good until my friend who controlled a CAW named Onyx turned on me and sided with Rock and his stable we named Angry Black Guys.
