SSX Tricky for X-Box?

Anyone played this yet? I am very curious how it turned out.. With the improved visuals and 5.1 digital sound in game I may almost be worth the upgrade from the PS2 version for this addict.. Anyone that can compare it to the PS2 version?

If you already have it for ps2 then I suggest giving Amped a try. Very fun addictive game with cool music plus support for make your own soundtrack.

I just bought it today from CompUSA. So far I'm lovin' it, but I haven't played the PS2 version. The graphics are pretty good, but I kinda expected more from the X-Box. It's about on par with the PS2 version (with slightly better graphics). The gameplay is great, but my hands are getting really sore after just a short time of play (prob. because I push the buttons so hard). If you conquered the first SSX, then this one should be a pretty good challenge for you since there are modified maps and new shortcuts (which are sometimes hard to find). The controls on the X-Box are sometimes complicated because the Y button is used to do grabs. It's kinda hard to hold down the Y button while pressing the X button (jump button) along with one of the Left, Right grab combos. But I'm slowly getting used to it so it should feel comfortable after playing it a while. The sound is also pretty good. You can hear the crowds cheering all around you and also your fellow competitors when you pass them. The rears are pretty active throughout the game. If you loved the first SSX then you should definitely buy the X-box version. The controls take a while to get used to, but it's just as much fun.
