Goodness! It's been over 40 minutes since I was last allowed to play! (MGS2 spoilers)
The end of this frickin game is pretty annoying! It's been over 40 minutes since I last did anything! I'm all for story in games, but this is a bit rediculous! I think I've played a total 10 minutes in the past hour and a half!

MGS2 is without a doubt my favorite game ever, but what the hell where they thinking when they came up with that ending. Who wants to wasten around an hour to see stupid videos. I ddn't even understand what was going on. Still don't. I think somebody brought gave some special brownies to the developer's before they finished the ending.

That was a pretty well thought out ending. It kinda freaked me out at first when that guy started saying weird stuff. I think in the end, I played about 15 minutes in the last 2 hours of the game. Just a bit too much non-interaction for me.
To expand the ending, the developers were making it seem like YOU (the player) were Raiden, and that they were training you for future missions (did you notice the name on the dogtags he held at the end?). If you want a real discussion on it, go to IGN's board. They've got a thread with almost 900 replies discussing the end.
