Is it impossible to find a Playstation 2 on sale???

If you have American Express Blue, you can get PS2, XBox, Game Cube, GBA all for 30% off at Virgin Mega Store (if there is one near you)

My friend just bought PS2 yesterday for $210, and I bought the GBA for $70

I don't think you can find any better deals

The only way you can get a PS2 cheaper than list price is either through ebay or by using coupons. I think there's some type of policy where retailers can't lower the price of the system without Sony's permission.

ON the up side, the Japan PS2 just got lowered to 249.99 so hopefully there will be a drop here soon as well.

How do you shop this store? All I see is alot of flashing adds with no content and no merchandise.

You can get 30% off at a Virgin Megastore B&M using an Amex Blue -- very, very good price.

If anybody you know works at wal--mart or k-mart, they get 10 percent off. I have a christmas coupon for 20 percent off anything at walmart now, but I don't want it. I might pick up a dvd or maybe a game for 40 bucks.

I was in Walmart today and they had systems for $289.99 right in front when you walk in. Nothing special, but its the lowest brick and mortar price I've ever seen. you can also get them used from Electronics Boutique for $265.00.

I've seen used systems for 259.99 at EB and Gamestop
