GTA3's swipe at Driver!
Ok, maybe this is old news to some folks (I don't recall seeing this mentioned anywhere here, but I could be mistaken), but what did you think of GTA3's swipe at the Driver series?
Specifically, it's the "Two-Faced Tanner" mission. As the mission was loading, I thought, "Tanner...hmm, why does that sound familiar?" Then as Asuka starts filling me in on the mission--that a "strangely animated" driver of hers was actually an undercover cop, that he was generally "useless" on foot, and that it was my job to rub him out--I remembered immediately that Tanner was your undercover cop's name in the Driver series.
As if there wasn't enough in GTA3 to give me a big grin...

Ha! That is funny.... I didn't know that, but I remembered the wording of the mission, and I thought it was odd for some reason.
