PS2: Grand Theft Auto 3 tips 'n' stories
 

I'm seriously addicted here folks. Part of the fun of this game is just being able to stir up trouble outside regular gameplay. I'd love to hear some of the dastardly thing's y'all have pulled.

Also, any surprising outcomes to missions? Here's one:

While on the "Two-Faced Tanner" gig for Asuka ... I was doing my darndest to clobber Tanner with a big army truck. Well, it wasn't going well. But I totally lucked out. I was being hammered by the fuzz from all directions and only got in a few soild smashes into Tanner's car, yet he only had about 25% damage. Then a miracle happened. We were on the highway near the water and I hit a tree (d'oh). Then all the cops clobbered my truck and I had to bail because it was about to blow. I get about three steps out and BOOM! I fall to the ground with 16% life, but to my astonishment Tanner's car was within range of the blast and he was blown into the water and killed. Bingo! Mission cleared. Cops blaze. I'm able to limp back to save my game.

Yes, I particiapted in that thread. I was hoping to revive a more focused discussion here.

Played it for about 5 mins. last night, so I don't have any stories. I'd like to say though that it's fun to beat people over and over again with the baseball bat. I love the sound it makes. :D

I'm addicted to the game also. Can't put it down to try MGS2 or DMC, etc. One thing I found funny as hell, and there are many, is when I backed into an alley to take a break. While I was sitting there in my car, two guys starting fighting in front of my car. It was like they were putting on a boxing match for me. One of them finally won and ran off. The other guy laid on the ground with money floating over him. So I got out of the car and took his money. Maybe one day, I'll finish the game. No cheating yet! :)
