Steven Kent reviews PS2/X-Box/GC
Steven Kent reviews all 3 consoles for MSNBC. He gives a very objective review of each, pointing out what he thinks is the strengths and weaknesses of each. He talks about games for all systems too at this point. Here is the article:

Update: he is a bit subjective in the GameCube review, he seems to have a very pro-Nintendo slant.

Along a similar vein, Microsoft has opted to require consumers to purchase Xbox bundled with three games for $499. While the console itself only costs $299, Microsoft is not letting people pre-purchase the hardware alone, at least at first.

Actually, I already sent him an email 2 and half hours ago about it. He said he would check with the retailers and retract that statement if it proved untrue.
He also said most of that info on Halo was 2 months old. He asked his editor to edit it out, but it didn't happen in time.
Anyway, he will have a glowing review of the launch games for the XBox in Friday's USA Today.
