Devil May Cry- need some help
 
I'm on Mission 1 and I'm already stuck.
I got thru the red door and went as far as the blocked staircase.
Now what?
I'm guessing I'm supposed to find a key to unlock the other door?

AgtFox: that's mission 2.

timewaster: There's a door out of the stairwell right before you get to the blocked section, I assume you haven't noticed it?

I thought it might have been Mission 2, sorry for the confusion. The Missions sometimes meld together for me :).

Yes, I've noticed the door and went thru it, but then what?
I've been thru all the rooms and picked up nothing but orbs.

If I recall correctly, at the top of the spiral staircase, at the other end of the room, is a statue-looking thing holding something shiny. Hit the square button (or whatever you've set your "check" button as) when you're near it, and you'll pick up the rusty key. As a general rule, whenever you see something shiny, it's a good idea to check it out, I think.


And don't mind Thunderball. The spider is cake, he just sucks at DMC. ;)

I'm pretty far along but I'm stuck as well

Can anyone help with Mission 17?

That dragon door has me stuck. I walk down that hall and that creature shoots fireballs at me but I can't reach him to kill him. It won't let me go back so I assume that I have to kill him to open the door. But how? Nothing works. There was what I thought was a mirror in the hall but it won't move.

Hit the fireballs he spits back at him. Three will kill him off.
