Time Crisis II pulled off shelves at TRU
I went to purchase TC II at my local Toys R Us this weekend and was told by the manager that due to the recent terrorist attacks TRU had decided to pull this game along with others such as Red Alert etc. She said this is a national policy and that the store will probably will not carry this time of game anymore.

TRU had never carried the first one or Point Blank due to the inclusion of the Guncon. They only carry light guns and toys that look the least like a real gun and more like "sci-fi" toys.

Does the guncon "recoil" like the arcade version?
|
Now that you mention it I am not sure if it has vibration feedback or not. I will have to check it out.
|
Well, in the arcade version, it's not just vibration like a rumble pack. Instead, the top of the gun actually slides back and forth like a real gun. Did the playstation 1 guncon do that?
|
No, it doesn't recoil like the arcade gun. The Guncon 2 is a bit smaller and light weight then the Guncon and has more buttons including a D-pad. It looks more similiar to the Sega Dreamcast gun that was released in Japan.

I don't remember anything special with the TC2 game I played in the arcade - no rumble, no slide nothing. Must not have been the deluxe version.

Does anyone else think that this is frickin' ridiculous? If you don't want to have anything to do with terrorism in entertainment, you won't buy the game or watch the movie. But what if you WANT to play "Red Alert" or "TC II," or watch "The Siege?" Ugh.
