Shenmue 2 Rating in Famitsu?
Does anyone know if Famitsu has reviewed it yet? If so, what rating did it get? I remember the first one got 32/40. I tried to web-translate the page, and the only thing I could find out was that it was the 2nd best seller last week.

I wish Sega would get off their butts and release this on other platforms.....I sold my Dreamcast so will not be playing that version anyway. Thought for sure you would see info on at least an Xbox or PS2 release. Oh well....time will tell.

the rest of the Shenmue chapters will be coming to the PS2 system. Sega's all but announced that already.

This game looks awesome! Can't wait for it to come out here, I still have my old save file from the original Shenmue, I learned a lot of special moves and saved my money on that quest and I'm glad we'll be able to bring it all to the next game.
I guess that also means we're not going to be able to continue using that save file when Shenmue hits the next gen platforms.......bummer....

Yup,
I just finished Shenmue for the second time a couple hrs ago. Replayed it to build of all my moves and get all the toys. Couldn't get all the collectibles, but got pretty damn close. There are certain toys which you just can't get. The odds are even at all. Most of my moves are advanced.
Btw, thanks Bernie for the report.

I think nothing should be assumed yet. I wouldn't be surprised to see it go to any system, including PC. Sega is doign a good job of supporting all the systems, giving each system big exclusives
Examples:
XBox: Jet Grind Radio Future
GameCube: Sonic 2, PSO v2
PS2: VF 4 (This may change later)

I did read someone a while back that Shen 1+2 are definitely coming to PS2, and I imagine it shouldn't be long now.

Guess that would be a good way to introduce the saga to PS2 owners.
Kind of like Capcom bringing all the Resident Evil games to a Ninetendo system. I think any and all N64 and GBC ports of the RE series were cancelled.

They were making a GBC port of RE?
You mean GBC as in Game Boy Color and not the advance right? Wonder what it was going to be like since the coolest part of RE are the environment, music, (and of course story which they could port easily), but graphics
