Amazon.com says check back Sept. 4 for the next opportunity to preorder an Xbox.

Why wait for amazon? They will only be doing bundle packs too. Infact microsoft is making retailers sell the system in bundles, so dont count on getting a stand alone system. Your best bet is to go through the comp usa site and get the system with the games you like, or order a bundle and return the stuff you dont want to the store for cash refund.

I'm not waiting for Amazon or any other (e)retailer. I'm not buying a Xbox, I am just reporting stuff i find around the net.
