Anyone into the Dreamcast emulation scene? **NOT WAREZ**

I finished Zelda the other day w/ NesterDC. This program is great! There's nothing better than having an emulator hooked up to a big ass TV. I just can't go back to PC emulators after playing 'em on my DC.

Does anyone know where I can find the ever-elusive SegaGEN emulator? I'd love to have a full speed Genesis emulator for my DC! ANy help would be appreciated.

You can e-mail me: [email protected]

heh heh, well I'm in Hermon actually. I always was fascinated when someone else from Maine posted on DVDtalk. I thought I was the only one in the state with a DVD player . A friend of mine tried this DC emulation thing, but it didn't work I guess, and I heard it doesn't work too well even if you can get it to work. I so want a disk that works and emulates well, tons of old games I would love to play. but at this rate I think I'll have to wait for them all to be rereleased like Chrono Trigger .

I love my Dreamcast/Colecovision/NES/SNES/Genesis system.

Yes, they all work very well i might add. I think I still have the SegaGen source to be burned with instructions. I put it all on a CD.

Once you figure out the burning process it's pretty simple to burn emulators. Many of the emulators run @ full speed - NES, Sega Master System, Genesis (if you can FIND SegaGEN the sound is a bit glitchy), MAMED DC supports 100s of arcade games, and the Colecovision emulator is frickin' amazing! I could play Pitfall all day long...

I haven't burned it yet as I'm waiting for it to become a fully working release i.e. all 3000+ of my roms will work

Where I dled roms from was a friend, but someone compiled them from http://www.mame.dk/

All the versions are being made because when they first got it to run, they could only get a certain few games to work. Then they screwed with it more and got some more games to work and so on and so on. Right now, I believe there is about 262 games that work, 171 of them are perfect, the other 91 are working but not perfect.

Wow, it looks like a 2600 emulator is on its way!!

From http://www.dcemulation.com/

Gonzos Atari 2600 emu for Dreamcast demo released
Posted by wraggster At 12:34
Gonzo the creator of DColem has released a no sound demo of his port of an Atari 2600 Emulator for Dreamcast here is what he says:

I finally got my port of v2600 running.
Tested it with pitfall and donkey kong and the emulation runs quite well.
Still have to implement the controls and sound output.
I'll release a little "no-sound" demo later today if everything works out well.
hell it's real fun to play these classics again on my tv heh

The emulator at the moment can only be played through a coders cable, unless one of you great people out there can help us out,to download the emulator and add comments, thanks and suggestions ,go to this topic in the Classic Emulators Forum here

Kick ass! My father bought me the 2600 when it came out and I love it still to this day. I still remember the pong joysticks or going through about 10 joysticks playing track and field

What SNES emulator are you using? I tried DreamSNES and thought it was pretty much unplayable because it was so slow. Plus, the menus and songs were annoying.

So far there aren't any SNES emulators for DC that are 100% speed. I don't even bother playing DREAMSNES - 80% is waaaaay to slow.

BOOM! Ressurected

Anyways, last week they released the Atari 2600 emulator and its very buggy right now. This is from the guy who did the Coleco so I expect it to be great once he gets all the tweaks fixed
