technical help with Baldur's gate...???
OK I'm here in Israel and have just received a package from the States containing my new BG, ToSC and BG 2. I installed BG with no problems and played around on it for about 30 minutes. But thanks to a previous post here I decided to go ahead and install ToSC right from the start. Well when I did I couldn't open the game anymore. I installed ToSC fine and even saw the demo trailer for Torment and then it took me to the main menu screen. With the unistall, update, play, etc options. I click play and suddenly I get an error saying that I have the wrong version that it (ToSC) is for English systems only. Duh, I have an English operating system. Although I do have a Hebrew enabled version of Windows ME I have NEVER had a problem with any software before.
I tried unistalling and installing again but get the same error. I checked the settings in "regional settings" in the control panel and it is set for English as the language and U.S. as the region. I called up the fellas at interplay but they couldn't help. I did try and install BG 2 and it installed and played fine (hallelujah!). But does anyone, ANYONE, have any ideas as to how to get ToSC to install and run?? Please HELP!! Thanks
