Genesis Help!!!!!!!

I received my Genesis today but the AV (or is it RFU) doesn't seem to want to connect to the Genesis.

The genesis has 9 prongs, and the adapter has 4 prongs. The ebay seller said it worked, but it doesn't even look like it could fit (it doesn't).

Are there two versions or am I just not pushing in hard enough?

any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like you're trying to plug a Genesis 2 AV cable into an original model Genesis. The original model Genesis uses a 9 pin DIN cable. You should be able to get one of these at Radio Shack.

Could it be the other way around? My genesis is model 2 and the cord could be model 1?
