I might get it. I have a problem with Diablo II getting graphics glitches when I'm running W2K with a Voodoo 5 video card. Never had the same problem when running WinME. The 800X600 will be nice, as will the new boards, but I am not too excited about the character classes. I'll still wanna play with my level 64 Necro.

I haven't played Diablo II since march. I completed the game and got partway into paying it again.

I am probably going to start from scratch with the exansion installed and play a druid. Some of those spells look cool.

Now.. if Baulder's gate 2 and the expansion come down in price, I want to pick those up too. Though I never did finished BG1 or its expansion. hehe

try staples. I can forward a copy of my instore coupons. they have a 20 off 100 instore. price match their own online site to get the SB Live MP3 at 95.99. add in some cdr's to get you over 100 dollars then get $20 bucks off. if you do not want to mess with price matching then add a candy bar to the 99.98 price and use the coupon.

by the way this expansion disc is worth 30 bucks. it adds new game characters and a bunch of new features. it was a great looking game add on also.

Thanks for the offer, but there's no staples here in Hawaii. And I think I'm going to go with the SB Live value and a new cheap CD Rom drive (my Creative DVD Rom from '98 seems to be dead too.) Hmmm. Maybe I should check out some of the online bargains. ;)

Yeah, D2:LoD looks pretty cool. Some of the new monsters look pretty good. I just hope they don't have anything as annoying as those little pygmies with the blow darts in the jungle. :mad: ;)

Electronic boutique has it out today (wednesday). No clue where it came from. I went there to trade in for some new GBA games and LoD was out on the shelves. They have like 50 of them just there, all for 34.99. Pretty expensive for an expansion pack. But I'm getting one later today anyways. Gotta get a head start on the game.

I ended up getting the SB Live Value and a Creative 52x CDrom locally today for $115 including tax. In fact, I just spent the last 3-4 hours building a new Bowazon. :)

Though since they're resetting the ladders on Friday, I'll probably have to start over again. Oh well. Not the first time.

When it came down to it, I decided to grab Throne of Bhaal instead of Lord of Destruction. There seems to be a lot of bugs and hacks already for D2 and I'd like to see if Blizzard plans on continuing the fight.

I got it yesterday at Best Buy for $39.99. Yeah, yesterday 6/27/2001.

It looks better with 800X600, I haven't played the new characters yet, but you get more stuff with it.

Well, I just picked it up at my local Wal-Mart today, cost me over $35, I thought it may be cheaper there but it was'nt.All well, it proberly was worth it. -smile-

they are running an ad on it for 34.99 on sunday so save your receipt and get that 5 bucks back. I went in and got them to give me the strategy guide for free since Fry's was doing that. they also told me if their price goes down(it will ;) ) I can get the money for that in the next 30 days. so 34.95 + free strategy guide when it is all done :D

I go it today (yep June 28) for $49, but there is a $10 postal rebate so I got it for $39. yeah I forgot to add that this is Canadian money so that's about $25 US.

I got it at CompuSmart and they said (they even had an ad in the window) that they were going to sell it on June 29. When I paid I asked them if it was supposed to be released on 29 but they told me that everybody was happy to have it now and every store in Montréal didn't respect the date anyway (FutureShop also had it but it was more expensive).

I picked mine up yesterday at EB for 34.99. It has alot of new features:

2 new character classes: assasin and druid
2 new acts

I just started a new assasin character. Only up to level 4 so far. I plan on finishing my battle.net paladin character first.

My Assassin is level 23 right now. As far as the disciplines go....I haven't been spending too many points in the Martial Arts area...

The fire traps and "shadow" are very handy.

Also, for anyone who has played Act V, does the music in town sound very familiar. It sounds alot like the music from Star Wars when Luke is on Tatooie to me.
