Hello,

I recently purchased a used (not illegal copied) copy of Phantasy Star Online. The single player game is not all that exciting, but I really wanted it for the on-line gaming anyway.

When I tried to log on, I put the serial number and key code in, only for it to say that the serial number failed to register because my dreamcast wasn't the first one for the game to be registered on.

Is there anyway that I am going to be able to play on-line, or am I just out of luck?

As far as i know you are just out of luck. You might be able to call Sega and tell them either that you bought a used copy and want to register it or that your DC broke and you had to replace it and want to re-register your purchased PSO disc - one of those might work for you.
