Does anyone know if someone has made a power converter to use an N64 in a car? I know that a DC to AC inverter would work, but it seems kind of silly to convert DC to AC just to plug the N64 in so it can convert AC back to DC.

i bought a $19 AC inverter from http://www.heartlandamerica.com for my systems and laptop, i dont see what's "silly" about it. We used it when we were camping outside (like fools) Best Buy waiting for our PS2s. We were holding video game tourneys all night. i had more fun waiting for the sysytem than actually playing that POS.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say you probably shouldn't play videogames while you're driving!

It is for when he is on hold with his cell phone. ;)

Is there some kind of portable screen you can buy that's portable with a power source?

I know DC to DC converters were much cheaper, so it seemed that a better solution would be to cut out middle of the the DC to AC back to DC conversion. Brian |
