No clipping and all ammo for Doom. I reused these over and over, so these are the ones I remember - can't for the life of me recall the god-mode code.

I can't remember what it did in the original release but it was actually pretty kewl for the Turbo version (SNES) because it allowed you put the speed setting up to 10 stars!!! That's hella fast :D I was actually able to beat it consistently on the hardest difficulty at 10 stars, but it was mighty tricky to get the timing down. 4 stars seemed like slo-mo after that

in the original SF2 release, it was so each player could use the same character in challenge mode (i.e. ryu vs. ryu)

as I sit and ponder....

heres one for ya...The Konami code worked two ways in Gradius 3 on the SNES. If you did the code like you would for Contra your ship would self destruct. pretty cool no? but if you replaced Left, Right, Left, Right with the L and R triggers. You got stocked with power ups. Now then heres another code that some may forget. In Castlevania 3: Dracula's Curse if input the name "Help Me" you started the game with 10 extra lives.

What one more...

ok not really a code but more like a cheating method for Mega Man part 1. Ok If you've read in the "Whats the hardest video game you've ever played" thread youll see that some have said Mega Man one. Heres what ya do. Beat any boss first, and I mean anyone. I usually beat Bomb Man first. When you get to the next boss you've chosen to fight throw whatever weapon you attained and as soon as it hits the boss start hitting pause (in short make it go in slow mo). As the weapon hits the boss, and your hitting pause you'll notice the robot master's energy levels drop...drop...drop..DEAD!! thats how I beat the game. Not bad huh? of course this also works with the Mega Buster, and it doesnt hurt to have a rapid fire option. And yes this even works on that big orange rock monster and Dr Wily himself. Ok one more...

Mega Man 3
On the second controller by holding I believe its Right and A. This will allow Mega Man to do a super jump. If he dies in the process he becomes invincible. ok im done...(all thanks i give to Nintendo Power, and caffine).

NFS3? Best racer ever for psx? :yack:

EDIT--
Come to think of it, I'm sorry for the above post. This thread isn't about the best racer for psx, it's about favorite codes. I would have just removed my post, but I don't want to Phantom post. Sorry. :(

I can't seem to remember what NES game this was, but if you tried to put in the Contra code a screen came up that said "This is not Konami!" I always liked that one.

Along with the Contra code, I know this one too! I remebered it in my head as:

One Got Pee One N K Eight See One D Bootson. Don't know why or how I ever memorized that one, but I did.

This is the one that came to mind when I read the title of the thread. Wasn't it just one "B A" though?

I looked it up and I think you are right. Funny how I thought I remembered it this way.

Thunderball 05-20-01 09:26 AM

Damn, you people took the rest of my codes... :( :D

Static Cling 05-21-01 01:02 AM

I never owned an NES (plenty of friends did, though), but when I read the thread title, I even remembered the ol' Up Up Down Down one from Contra. :)
