One of my friends has told me he found out a way to burn an SNES emulator and a whole crap load of roms ( like 500) on to a cd with some other program(s) to allow you to play the snes games on a dreamcast... anyone heard of this? he is trying it out this weekend to see if it works...

You can do it, but they play slower\choppier than on a SNES, and the sound is messed up in all the games (if it's the same build I had burned).

I have one I bought as a back up to a number of SNES games that I have that the battery has crapped out on. I have only had time to try a few, but the game E.V.O. (incredible game) is so-so. They aren't nearly as good as playing on the SNES, but if it is all you have, it brings back memories.
I wish Nintendo, etc. would release some large compilations. |
Yes it is true and possible, but right now the rom software/roms themselves are suckekeke. They are slow, choppy, and don't give the same feel as the original. The Genesis DC emulator is quite good because they use the one from the sega smash pack(I think) but it is still not as good as the original. IMHO, the original is better.
