Is Nintendo doing what Sony did with the PS2 and selling them to retailers at MSRP, forcing them to make bundles? That's gonna suck, especially with the only bundle being that @#$%@#$ big...

BTW, F-Zero is $29.99 (one of the few under $39.99 games).

i got one...its worth it, because i love tony hawk, and everyone will have mario, and a battery pack is kinda a good thing, but you'd never buy one, so it comes with it. The price isn't that bad..what is MSRP for just the GBA supposed to be..i thought it was 150$, and that means only like 65 bucks (after tax and shipping) for 2 games and a battery pack...
Not Bad i say...

The Game Boy Advance will launch at a retail price of $99.95. Prices for game titles will range from $29.95 to $39.95 each.
$95-$40-$30=$25 for a battery pack.
They're not really gouging you, but make no mistake: you're probably paying full MSRP on all the items in that bundle. It's not bundled so you save money, it's bundled so they make a profit.

$39 for a hand held game is too expensive. If they are actually going to make all the good games $34 and higher then I might reconsider buying a system.. What is it with Nintendo making all their games so expsive? (Like $59 for Conkers Fur Day and other good N64 games). I suppose it could be the cartridge cost but that doesn't make a difference whenit comes to the bottom line of paying $39 for a hand held version of a 10 year old game.

Bleh, Im not buying a damn bundle. I could careless about TH2. The only launch titles that intrest me are Mario, F-Zero, and Bomberman. I might just wait a while and pick up the GBA when Super Mario Kart gets released.
About Conker for N64...They should have sold this game at $39.99. The N64 is gonna be dead by the time summer roles around, and $59.99 for a N64 game is way too much. Look at the sales charts, Conker is hardly even selling. Oh well, during the summer im sure will see some great deals on N64 games...until then...no more games for me.

I will also wait. Don't see many launch titles I like. I mainly want to see my GBC games on it.
On a brighter note, EBworld also has FF Chronicles up for preorder. (FF4, and Chrono Trigger)

Just so everyone understands the "bargain" here: (all prices MSRP)
Game Boy Advance: $99.95
Tony Hawk 2: $39.99
Mario Advance: $29.99
Battery Pack: $19.99
Total: $189.92
ADDITIONAL cost paid for the EBWorld bundle: $5.07 over MSRP
(BTW, you can still use the $10 coupon at http://www.kbkids.com to get the GBA at retail and no bundle)

>Mario Advance: $29.99 <
Mario Advance is listed at $34.95 on their web page. It's still not a bargain.. it's just like they did with the PS2, they make you buy all the items that they actually make money off of (since they make nothing on the hardware). This way they are using the high demand to guarantee they make more $$.. Pretty sad IMHO.. If you notice, as PS2 is more and more available the bundles they offer for that are much cheaper and are games you actually want.. No more hint books and system stands that you must purchase!

Actually, if you go to any B&M Electronics Boutique, you can include ANY two games with the set. I myself bundled it with Castlevania and Mario. And the system, from what I've read is going to be 139.99 MSRP.

I went through this kind of bundle crap with the PS2 and I will never do it again. If I can't buy the GBA the way I want it on the launch date I will just wait.
