Why are you bumping another 2+ year old thread?

Why don't you delete your 2 year old thread?

Apparently now the OP has to delete his 2 year old thread that someone else bumped? It's not his obligation to go and delete every old thread he posted 2 years ago so it don't get bumped.

Not sure how it works, but if it doesn't get deleted it stays in the forum search. I would think the poster or the mod should delete anything that old. Usually if I see a thread in my searching, I don't normally check dates. ...I always go through and delete my threads when they are done. I don't want emails forever about things I dont have. Makes sense to me.

My mistake. Apparently we can't delete anything anymore.
Someone needs to clean house a bit though.
