Everyone in Springfield always goes to the Town Hall meetings. I mean, Barney the drunk shows up, and Moe closes his tavern, and Burns leaves his office....it's awfully unrealistic. Has anybody else ever wonder why they all show up?

Know what else is unrealistic? The fact that their skin is yellow and they have 4 fingers and you never can tell if they have hair or a misshapen scalp. Oh, and how normal laws of physics and mortality don't seem to apply to them.
JoeC...with his most biting post since the "What's a flying human supposed to look like if CTHD got it all wrong?"...

And the show is full of plot holes - how do they expect to be taken seriously by the drama community?
And while we're on the subject of unrealistic entertainment - I was reading Shakespeare's McBeth today. Do you know it's supposed to be a historical drama - yet features witches and curses and magic daggers! WTF was Mr Shakespeare thinking when he wrote that?!

I second that damn, save Junaid a seat too.
You people are boring and make it up with your biting sarcasm. At least I had a chance to waste precious minutes of your life, seeing how Shakesphere never wrote "McBeth", it's MacBeth, amazing what the "smarter" Simpsons viewers know.

[klavenspeak] Actually like most Elizabethans, Shakespeare spelled his name inconsistently, and Shakesphere is probably as good as most... I prefer Shaxpir, myself. What he never did was insert a second capital letter into the middle of a name. He wrote Macbeth.
You may now go back to your beer drinking.[/klavenspeak]
