Last season we were treated to at least one gratuitous sexual liason an episode. This year, we're what? 5 episodes into the season and not one gratuitous humping scene.

What gives? Why even put that MA-nudity tag at the beginning of the episodes anymore?

Sopranos:Season 3 - A Season of No Skin?

Just finally finished the first season on dvd...do not have HBO but will buy the upcoming seasons on dvd also!!! Is it necessary for this show to have sex scenes? This show from what I have seen so far is outstanding and does not need these scenes to make it successful!!! Maybe that is why they are shying away from this trend which was set in the first season.....this show is highly successful and not because of the nudity they have shown from time to time!!! I will admit it has been nice when shown but not necessary. :)

I have to agree with djones6746. I mean, the nudity is nice and everything, but I don't watch Sopranos just to see some sex scenes or the strip club scenes. The Sopranos is a great, well-acted series with good storylines. Grunter, if you want to see sex so bad, watch Sex and the City or go watch a porno. Plenty of skin there, but not the high quality entertainment of The Sopranos.

I'm not saying that the show needs sex scenes.

I'm just saying that I miss the one's we used to get.

I'm still waiting for the gratuitous shot of Tony with his wife-beater off -- but I betcha I'll be waiting a helluva long time.

Tonight's episode revolves around a stripper, so I bet they'll be some nudity there. Personally, I found Drea in her undies about a thousand times sexier than any pneumaticly enhanced stipper that has ever been on disply in the first two seasons :)

We did get the lesbian strippers a few episodes ago..... :)

Speaking of that, I'm waiting for Adriana and the tennis instructor to hook up! They throw it out there and then nothing for 4 episodes.
