We've seen enough of movies that are retreads of TV shows...
How about the reverse?
Two that come to mind...
Buffy, the Vampire Slayer.
Stargate SG1 (my personal favorite).
And how about a tv show based on a movie retread of a tv show? The Fugitive, which I think is actually quite good!

The Planet of the Apes spin-off series was OK but departed considerably from the film because they had talking humans....
And, er, Lassie's Rescue Rangers wasn't exactly a hot show
Stargate certainly has its moments. But don't you think the Major looks like a younger Ellen de Generes?

ClueLess!!!! You almost can't tell it's not Alicia Silverstone. I can't believe they wasted the money making the movie let alone a t.v. show.
