I watched a little bit out of curiousity, and heard that Eric Bischoff Guy making a live phone call (I hate that guy for some reason)

Anyways, he remarked that all titles will be on the line and if any former champions want to "lace them up" that they were welcome to challenge.

Anyone think that they are going to try any surprises next week in challenging for the titles before their hiatus?

Could we see the return of the orange goblin himself, Hulk Hogan?!?

Does anyone care?!?

probably not, but I am intrigued...

Kind of.

I work nights, so I am unable to watch wrestling most of the time, but I am intrigued as to what will happen, like I said.

Thought it would make for discussion on a boring day.

Booker T vs Steiner is the main event. I think Booker will go out as the champ. Shane Helms has been awesome and I hope he gets a chance at the WWF. His last WCW match is one I'm looking forward to.

You should hate Bischoff, the death of WCW is his doing. He beat it into a coma, then Vince Russo tripped over the plug of the life support. I'll definitely be watching the last Nitro.

Bischoff was doing very well, but he let the egos like Nash and Hogan take over totally. There were no more good matches or clean finishes for the main eventers and that just ruined the show. Every week was the same lame run ins and screw jobs. He also hired Bret Hart which has to be the single biggest mistake of Bischoff's entire career. Hart was one of the main reasons the WWF was sucking in the ratings. Once Vince unloaded that loser he was able to put Steve Austin in the spotlight and take over the Monday Night Wars.

Former champs? Hmm, wouldn't it be cool if benoit showed up (wwf bought wcw today, confirmed)... remember, wcw had to make up a story to take the belt away from chris cuz he signed in the wwf while still wcw's champ...

Yes, I did watch all of Nitro...

and I agree that Eric, Hogan, Nash, DDP and a few others including the suits in Time Warner ruined WCW and put it in the situation it now finds itself in.

But in the same token, it was those same men who brought WCW to the masses again, made wrestling fun to watch again, revived the competition again and flat out forced the WWF to be the production it is today.

So hats off to you guys, and in the same breath damn you all to hell.

Who cares guys. Monday night is probably going to be one of the most anticipated mondays in wrestling history. Think of everything that can happen. All I know is, I'm going to have two different TV's and VCR's going.

It could be part of an angle. No one from the WWF has commented on this at their website. Maybe it's true, or maybe they don't want to add to the hype.
