i recently started getting into the practice over the past year - but i have a question

how did elanor frutt become pregnant? who's her daddy and what does he do? -wink-

She asked a "friend" to be a sperm donor, with the intention of becoming a single mother. Then the guy sued for joint custody, and there was a really nasty legal battle. They did a good job of showing both sides during the court fight; I still think he deserved better...

thanks!

man she's a tub of lard. They'd better keep that baby away from her or she'll eat it!

It's funny how they put Lara Flynn Boyle and Shamoo in the same scenes together. I'm watching it and my brain is going:

Ohh Lara
Ugh Elanor
Ohh Lara
Ugh Elanor
Ohh Lara
Ugh Elanor

Funny, because of the two, I think Eleanor is the healthier... Lara Flynn Boyle has the body of an 13-year-old boy...

I think that Lacy Chabert (sp?) is the hottest one there. Lara Flynn is next and then what's-his-name's wife.

Lacey Chalbert is on Party of 5. Maybe you're thinking of the smart-mouthed receptionist played by Marla Sokoloff.

I stopped watching the Practice because those guy NEVER lose a case no matter what. Like clockwork. At least in Kelley's other series i.e. Picket Fences, there is some suspense as to the results of the verdict.
my 2 cents

adamblast 03-20-01 03:20 PM

Too right, chowderhead... I still love the show, but it's annoying to see them always win case after case... It's gotten so that if they lose, you know it's only because the storyline is going to continue on for an appeal, etc... I mean, what is this? Matlock?

Red Dog 03-20-01 03:50 PM

My jump-off point of the Practice was when they had an entire episode based on what's-her-name wearing Bobby's mother's wedding dress. The scripts before that were just getting so outlandish - Vogleman as the nun killer, Bobby getting kidnapped, etc. But the wedding dress episode was the last straw for me.

Yeah, this show really jumped the shark when Bobby and Lindsey got married and then pregnant.

When will shows learn that babies are ratings death?

If any of you saw the original episodes when it took NYPD's Blue slot for a few weeks, you know what good TV is. It revolved around Bobby getting the people together and taking the drug company case. I reall don't think its gotten better and the most recent stuff is parody. Its gotten way too outlandish.
