Anyone know what tonight's Simpsons is about? Thanks.

March 11 • Bye Bye Nerdy (CABF11)
Lisa tries to make friends with a new girl at school, but she isn't as successful as the other girl's attempt to punch Lisa; Homer becomes a "baby-proofer"

Scott27 03-11-01 05:29 PM

Thanks, Wildcat. Come to think of it, I do remember seeing the commercial of Homer baby-proofing the house.

Feneant 03-11-01 07:34 PM

WOW! What a stinker... I mean PU, this episodes sucked bad... one of the suckiest ones I've ever seen. It contained but one good line of dialogue, one of the best actually, when
Spoiler:
Ralph says he and Millhouse are a totem and he starts to sing. I'll bet the indian community will have it removed, but it was funny as hell.

ZenerDiode 03-11-01 07:35 PM

WORST EPISODE EVER!

Well, I just wanted to get that out of the way...I actually liked it. Pretty funny stuff about nerd pheromones.

Martin: "I will not master one more stair until I find out what is going on!"

:D FUNNY!

It's just like Speed 2, except with a bus instead of a boat!

Personally, I thought tonight's episode was great. Ralph talked, so how could it not be?

Excellent line from Milhouse!

It was Similac Baby Formula..... and it was a pretty funny show IMHO.

kawada 03-11-01 09:06 PM

Overall, I'd give the show a B, maybe a B+, but I'd need a second viewing (someone send me a TiVo!!!).

I liked the Lisa story, but the Homer baby-proofing stuff really built to nothing. The funniest parts, in my opinion, were the Drederick Tatum classroom discussion, the scientists (mostly Frink) at Lisa's demonstration, Ralph as a totem pole and Martin "mastering" stairs.<br>

I agree with everything you said. The hilarious quote, it was a great episode, and I agree with what you said about Ralph. I hope they feature him in an episode again soon.

I thought Poindextrose was a stroke of genius.

The ending fell a little flat, but mostly entertaining.

Question tho'...
Spoiler:
Was Homer beating up Smithers in his high school flashback?

Kind of a sweet ending for Futurama, too. You knew Bender was gonna do what he was gonna do at the end, but still it was sweet.

JoeC...sucker

Yup, was good ol' Smithers.

Charlie Goose 03-12-01 12:57 PM

When Lisa is making her presentation, and the geek scientists are grumbling about bullies, one says "Let's not listen!". For some reason, that had me cracking up for several minutes.

Slumbering Fist 03-12-01 02:55 PM

It was okay. Will watch it again, but it wasnt great.

milkdog 03-12-01 04:11 PM

A couple of minor laughs (mentioned in this thread), but mostly it sucked. Nowhere near the best episode of the season; this year's been pretty good.

MrBEAViS 03-12-01 08:30 PM

We need more episodes based on the minor characters, like a good Mr. Burns, Moe, or Apu episode.

nevermind 03-12-01 08:35 PM

I thought it was great. Probably the best of the season!
