Well technically, Tony Soprano is a villian - he would be my favorite. However, he is portrayed more as a hero in that show.

What about dirty rat The Penguin from the old Batman TV Show.

That's a great one. Totally forgot about her. I remember being in college and the whole tv lounge cheered when she fell down the elevator shaft!

JR Ewing was the ultimate villian though.
