This show is so good that it's scary. How could CBS pass on such a great series? The characters are all perfect. The show is so well written too. Nothin like I've ever seen before. The only thing that even comes close is Northern Exposure, but I still think Ed is much better. I hope there are others out there that appreciate this show as much as I do.

I'd have to disagree. This initially promising show has really lost alot of steam during the last three episodes.

I do, I do!

Kinda nice being able to talk about TV outside of that filthy other forum ...

As for Ed - I love this show. All of the characters are well-developed and the relationships between them all just seems to meld together perfectly. I absolutely love this show and it's new timeslot on Wednesday - much easier than having to record it on Sundays to watch later.

I LOVE this show. It is such a joy to watch. This and CSI are my favorite TV shows of the season (or possibly ever for that matter).

I love this show...probably my favorite series on TV right now. Reminds me a lot of Northern Exposure in its first couple of seasons.

I never saw Northern Exposure, but I loved Ed. But then Julie Bowen was in it so I never had a chance.

The characters are great, the Ed/Carol relationship is just great to watch, as is the Ed/Mike relationship. I just burst into laughter whenever I hear the words "10 dollars if you..."

As good as TV can get...well, except for the show following, West Wing.

Well, shave my poodle!

One of the best shows to come around in years. I love it. I just hope that they can keep the quality up. Shows like this tend to dry up pretty quickly.

"10 bucks if you talk in an english accent."

It's nice to see others out there that appreciate the show as much as I do. I really don't think the show will suffer at all in the long term. They just have so many options as to where to go with all of the relationships. Ed's brother cracks me up. Does anyone else have a favorite character other than Ed?

The first time I watched it I thought it was a little too quirky and cutesy for my taste, but it's really grown on me and is now one of my favorites. I don't think it's doing all that well in the ratings, but I hope NBC sticks with it.

Yeah this is definetly one of the best new shows on TV this season. The actors are so damn likable. Very addictive show. I really didn't like tho how they handled the whole Bonnie thing. Ed is starting to look like a big chump.

I've loved every episode. If NBC hangs on to it, it might make up for cancelling Freaks and Geeks.

The ratings seem to be good, so I've got my fingers crossed.

I agree. Ed is a great show. Does anybody remember "Cupid" that was on ABC a few years ago? That show was absolutely awesome. It had the same kind of feel as Ed. Also, the Gilmore Girls are great also. Theres a rumor that Gilmore girls is written by Aaron Sorkin and two of his writers from the west wing and Sports Night. They use the pen name of Paladino or something. Greatr show for those who don't watch it.

Ed is one of the better shows on TV these days. I am waiting for Mike to bet Ed that regarding some suggestive comment to Carol.

Cupid was a great show that wasn't given a chance to develop a following. I think Ed is NBC's one bright spot this season. The Gilmore Girls is my favorite new show. CSI is also very good.

Not at all. You'll catch on real quick. Plus I'm sure that NBC will run quite a few of the older ones again once sweeps is over.
