Question:
Spoiler:
I must have missed something, who was the guy that was being 'made' along with christopher? And did anyone else find that ceremony a little hokey?

So is Jackie Jr. I think he's going to get Christopher in a lot of trouble.

I'm glad that AJ is finally growing up, amazing what 2 years will do for kids just entering puberty (season 1).

That Janice is one mean beeyotch, stealing Svetlana's leg! :)

Svetlana is a cool character she just takes life's in shuch a cool manner...I hope her a Jnice REALLY get into it this season.

Even though I don't watch the show, I came across this site about the show while reading an article. This isn't a joke and won't lead to some butt-nasty pic, but it is done and sponsered by HBO.

I was lost on that as well.

But, I did notice that the guy hanging around Christopher looked like Vinnie from Doogie Howser, M.D., Max Casella.

Spoiler:
My guess is that he was a NY guy getting made at the same time. You know how they have the NJ side and NY side. Plus remember how Tony was talking to the NY honcho afterwards about the therapy and all..

Dave99 03-14-01 06:06 PM

Red Dog, that makes sense, although you would think they would have had the NY boss do it, seeing as the show seems to indicate the NJ group headed by Tony plays 2nd fiddle to the New york crew.

Okay, so what was up with Jackie Jr, did he piss his pants during the concert hold up?

I love how Meadow took the "bugged lamp" with her to school. Doh!

Pillowhead 04-11-01 03:22 AM

Man that Ralphie is one sick mutha! He's probably gonna get whacked by season's end.

Where's Tony's sister been? Haven't seen her seen her play a prominent role in any episodes since the two where she was involved with that russian chick.

Dave99 04-11-01 10:37 AM

Well, at least we got to see Furio AKA Mr Williams in the last one. "Stoopid fooking game" :) I also think Ralpie is going to get waxed. The former pimp can't be a long term member of the show. At least he still drives a cadillac.

Dave

grunter 04-11-01 10:44 AM

Ralphie won't get wacked this season. It won't be a repeat of Richie from last year. Joey "Pants" - the actor who plays Ralphie - is signed to a two-year contract with the Sopranos.

After that last episode.
Lets say you were Tony Soprano and your wife asked you to donate $50 Grand to a college, would you? It pissed me off that a wife would just donate money after he said that he would only give 5 Grand

I understand, but look what she's putting up with.

I think that was the point of this EP. She was torn between loving this man who does monstrous things and her duty to her Marriage and her Catholic faith in terms of DIVORCE.

She spoke VOLUMES when she said:

"Tony, you gotta do something nice for me today..."

50 grand is enough "nice" for a lifetime.

I think this is a good investment for Tony to make.

Look at it this way, Anthony Jr. is going to be going to school soon and this would gurantee that he would get accepted to Columbia, and that both of them could do graduate or doctorate work there. So, its a good bang for the buck, and lord knows that Tony has a lot of bucks ;)

Dave99 04-12-01 01:22 PM

Even though Tony is the big, tough crime boss, when Carmela puts her foot down, things get done. :)

That's right.

I think his character fears her a bit...don't ask me why I think that I just do.

She's a tough woman.

Tony's a momma's boy. The entire series is structured around this primal fact of Tony's upbringing.

Of course he fears Carmela in some respect.
