With the exception of Survivor and Law and Order, I don't watch much tv in the way of dramas and comedies. Do they still dramatically proclaim that certain shows have "A very special episode" like they did in the 70's and 80's? My favorite from the old days was when Rerun got busted for bootlegging a Doobie Brothers concert on "What's Happening?" The drama was riveting!

Yeah, they still always say stuff like that. I think I saw a commercial for....Boston Public a week or two ago saying that it was "the most dramatic" or "a very special Boston Public," I can't remember which one.

In the last year or so of "Different Strokes", it seemed that every episode was a "very special" one. There was one where Arnold's annoying little red-headed stepbrother was snatched by a dude whose own son had recently died, and his wife was starting to crack because of the grief. Still another had Kimberly and Arnold hitchhiking, and getting picked up by some loon who held them captive at his place and tried to rape Kimberly. Arnold got mugged in one, and became terrified of his own shadow. It went on and on. By the way, Gary Coleman turned 33 on February 8th. Happy belated birthday, you tiny bastard!

I wish I could remember who made up one of these "very special episodes" about Seventh Heaven (I think it was someone from Roswell).
This week, a very special Seventh Heaven...The Camden's almost don't find a Christmas Tree but then do at the last minute.
