Let's hope the writing gives her something to work with.

I'm not sure which segment showed more vag. Either the home shopping sketch, or Sabrina Carpenter's first song.

I kept waiting for ICE to come in take Domingo away.

Snack Homiez was decent until Trump showed up. The fact that all of the young men were played by “not young men” was funny, dialog included.

Then I turned it off and got ready for bed. I’ll catch the clips on YouTube tomorrow.

The show started 15 or 16 minutes late and had to go to Youtube for the second song and Herlihy Frankenstein digital short.

Solid episode. Surprise, Grind song and plans had me dying. And that musical performance

I loved the horror movie trailer, and the Snack Homiez sketch was good. All the other sketches were weak IMO. Again, I think the writing it subpar this season. Carpenter is a good host, she puts effort into the sketches.

It might just be me, but looking at Sabrina Carpenter in pink panties makes me want to have sex with her.

Snack Homiez's was good. The 3 SNL chicks were great choices for playing young boys - especially Slowikowska.
The girl boss sketch had the music too loud. Between the music and some laughter, it was hard to hear what SC was saying. Plus her mic cut out for like 5 seconds.
Glad they're still using Padilla more.

If SC wasn't making money off her music, she could just do Onlyfans or porn. It's basically her whole schtick.

I believe that is called 'female empowerment'.

You might be on to something there, Dooks. Do you think that maybe she or her publicity team could play up that angle and sell more records and concert tix??

From the clips I've seen it looked about par for any episode hosted by someone who isn't an established regular or former cast member. A few chuckles from some clips, decent Weekend Update, but overall jokes that missed more than hit. Carpenter had charisma and was obviously giving it her all, but she can only do so much with the writing. Last week's was much better because Fey and Poehler were able to contribute .

I'd definitely turn her upside down and eat her like an ice cream cone.

It started late because of college football.

Maybe it's just me, but I kept mixing up Sabrina Carpenter and Chloe Fineman all night, I thought SC was introducing herself on the 2nd musical performance!

Not a great episode, but she sure is lovely. Manchild is such a good song too.

I can’t get over how much Ashley Padilla looks like a mid-90’s era Bonnie Hunt when she wears a blond wig.

I think she looks a lot more like Betsy Brandt.

Her energy reminds me of Laura Kightlinger.
