He was good until Season 4, after that it seemed he can't act anymore, I'm not sure if it was the writing or if he completely lost interest in the role.

After he started working for Dany, Tyrion kind of sucked because he was supposed to be a brilliant political advisor, and more of than not (imo) his advice to her was bad.

This. By the time both characters were hindered by the writing, nobody else really stood up that I can remember, so they take it for me.

Pretty much everyone was good, but I gave it to Joffrey just because he was so hateable to where I couldn't wait for him to die.
Never understood why everyone puts Dinklage on a pedestal.
