Zorro (Paramount+) S: Jean Dujardin

I just stumbled upon the existence of this French television adaptation of Zorro. It revolves around Diego de la Vega, 20 years retired from being Zorro and now mayor of Los Angeles, who takes up the mask once more to battle a corrupt business owner.

It premiered on 9/6/2024 and looks like fun. Apologies that I could not find the trailer with English subtitles.

No Zorro on Paramount + here in the States.

It must been a Latin America exclusive.

On the German Paramount+ it became available 2 days ago. Perhaps Paramount is rolling this out in the US at a later date.

I watched the first episode and it was really hard to get through. It has the same tone and production value like the 90s Zorro show. It is silly the humor is for children and I really don't get why a seasoned actor like Jean Dujardin would make such a terrible show.

Damn. That's a shame. The trailers made it look fun. :(
