What show are you obsessed with right now? (2024 and beyond)
A show that just has you in your grasp, whether streaming or broadcast or hell, both. What one show are you just infatuated with now?
For me: I just started my Yellowstone journey and what a mighty fine journey it has been. It’s so good. Kevin Costner on the small or big screen, I love. He exudes his brilliance here. The whole cast mesh really well. I wish I could finish by Nov. 11 I believe is epic return, but I started too late. It truly is a modern day western. |

I know how this forum feels about procedurals, but S.W.A.T. on CBS is currently my favorite show on TV. I make it a point to watch it the night it airs.
I'm also loving the final season of Superman and Lois. |

Industry. It’s really amazingly good. Thinking about every episode, hitting the podcast afterwards.

I usually ignore these shows. Last winter by chance saw an episode with weird rescues and got into it. Couple channels were airing marathons. DVR the marathons and saw every episode in time for the Poseidon Adventure season premiere. Only episode never saw was the one with Buck hit by lightning. They kept skipping over that one in the reruns. Loving the current season. I really get a kick out of it. |

^ yeah, I just started. hopefully finish by Nov something or perhaps Dec. but great so far in the first half of S1.

I watch three current shows: Reacher, Ghosts (US) and Elsbeth.
Ghosts is one of those things actually brings my mood up if I am feeling down. I put on some Ghosts and it is like a happy jolt to my system. The Good Place is probably the show I would compare it to in this regard. I usually don't like precedurals but Elsbeth is fun and light. 99.9 of the show because of Carrie Preston and I don't think it would work with any other actress. And who doesn't like to watch Reacher beat the shit out of bad guys? |

^^ I just read a quote from Mike Flanagan the other day -- it was along the lines of "how do you re-create the complexity of The Dark Tower? You follow the books exactly". But time will tell. It took me about 3 years to read thru all the books. I'd hate to see another rushed, hack job of the stories.
